Instructors

All aquatics instructors are CPR and First Aid certified. Instructors have extensive experience in teaching swimming and water polo.

Greg Salvinski
-CHAWP's (Chino Hills Area Water Polo Club) head coach since September 1999
-Began swimming and playing water polo when he was 7 years old
-Currently a SCAF water polo official and has been since 1995
-Instructs private swim & water polo lessons
-Works as a medical social worker in the community when not involved with water polo

Jason Bird
Jason lives in Fullerton and tries to keep swim lessons within North Orange County during the day. He coaches swimming and water polo at CHAWP Monday through Friday during the evening hours so he does private water polo and swim lessons before and after practices throughout the week in the Ontario/Chino area.
Jason has been doing group swim lessons for 14 years and has been working private swim lessons for 8 years so he has many different types of experience in teaching lessons. He has 10 years experience coaching competitive swimming and 6 years experience coaching water polo at the youth, high school, and club levels.

Mike Sattler
-Began coaching for CHAWP in 2001
- Served as team captain at Fullerton Jr. College 1993-94
- Graduated from Long Beach State University
- Currently an assistant coach at Fullerton Jr. College
- Presently a SCAF referee
- Currently working toward a master's degree at CSULB
- Competes with all the other CHAWP coaches on the men's team

Times I am available:-Usually I'm available in the morning's and afternoon's until 4pm.

Area Where I am available to teach:-I am available to teach anywhere in the Inland Empire or No. Orange Co. where there are athletes who want to improve. Except for Palm Desert!

About me: -I love to coach athletes who are willing to learn and to pass on my knowledge of water polo and swim so they can have a bright future in water sports. I love to coach kids and break things down until they understand them.

Chuck Camacho
Chuck Camacho lives in Chino Hills. He has 12 years of competitive swimming experience and 7 years of competitive water polo. He is WSI certified and has had a year of ASL (American Sign Language). Chuck is available throughout the Anaheim Hills, Yorba Linda, Brea, Diamond Bar and Placentia areas of Orange County, as well as Chino, Chino Hills, Ontario, Corona and Norco. Chuck loves to teach and is great with younger kids.
